Product FAQs:
1. How to classify the battery?
2. Why can't the battery be charged?
3. What are the differences between Primary Battery and rechargeable battery?
How to classify the battery?
Batteries can be grouped into following categories:
Alkaline battery
Zincic carbolic battery
Lead-Acid battery
Nickel-metal-hydride
Nickel-cadmium
Lithium battery
Li-ion battery
Li-polymer battery
Fuel cells
Solar cells
Other types of battery
Why can't the battery be charged?
The reasons why a battery can't be charged may be the following:
1. The battery has no voltage.
2. The charger has no output electric current.
3. Low charging efficiency due to external cause.
What are the differences between Primary Battery and rechargeable battery?
A primary battery is not intended to be recharged and is discarded when the battery has delivered all of its electrical energy.
A rechargeable battery is a galvanic battery which, after discharge, is restored to the fully charged state by the passage of an electrical current through the cell in the opposite direction to that of discharge.
Precautions when using a battery:
1. Do not modify or disassemble it.
2. Do not incinerate or expose battery to excessive heat, which may result in an exposure.
3. Do not expose battery to water or other moist/wet substances.
4. Avoid piercing, hitting, crushing or any abuse use of the battery.
5. Do not forget to take away your battery from the device if you will not use it for a long time.
6. Avoid short circuit of the terminals by keeping your battery pack away from metal objects such as necklaces or hairpins.
Do you know?
1. It's a common phenomenon that a charged battery will eventually lose its charge if unused. Therefore,it may be necessary to recharge your battery after a storage period.
2. Li-ion batteries produce the same energy as NiMH batteries but weigh approximately 35% less. Today,a rechargeable Li-ion laptop battery should be more popular than a NiMh one for its lower weight.
3. Actual laptop battery run-time depends upon the power demands made by the your equipment. The use of the monitor, the hard drive and other peripherals results in an additional drain upon the battery, effectively reducing the battery's run-time.The total run-time of your battery is also heavily dependent upon the design of the laptop. To ensure maximum performance of the battery, optimize your computer's power management features. Refer to your laptop manual for further instructions.
